With #Chilwell and #Maddison still unavailable, #LCFC lined up in 3-1-4-2 formation with #Fuchs replacing #Bennett. After a really bright start #LCFC in which #Leicester had several chances, it was #Vardy yet again who scrambled home a chipped cross from #Iheanacho. Although #LCFC lost #Albrighton to an injury who was replaced by #Bennett. The #Bournemouth defence continued to look decidedly shaky and when they lost influential defender #Ake following a challenge and fall the result looked an away banker, something #LCFC had not done since #NewsYearDay. The first half ended with the visitors well on top and 1-0 up.
Shortly after the second half had started #Rodgers made a tactical substitution taking off #Iheanacho who had again looked lively and replaced him with #Preat which mystified many #LCFC fans. #Bournemouth started to have more of the ball but did not really threaten until a error by #Kasper changed the game. His goal kick hit #Ndidi's back and fell into the path of #Wilson who was tripped by #Ndidi and #Stanislas converted the penalty. 2 minutes later #Bournemouth were 2-1 up when #Solanke slotted home again after poor defending and #Soyuncu lost his head and followed up on a player as the ball went over the line and was given a straight red card and now misses the rest of this season! #Leicester then just seemed to give up which considering what they are playing for seemed inexplicable, and it got worse when #Evans deflected a #Stanislas shot into his own net to make it 3-1 to #Bournemouth. Then a poor pass by #Fuchs was intercepted by #Solanke and he made it 4-1 to round off a thoroughly miserable day for #Leicester. So with 3 games left #LCFC must now win all their games to secure a top 4 slot but based on that performance the chances of seeing a flying pig might be better, but footballs a funny old game!
